Emma connects her experience and skills gained from corporate facilitation coaching, speech and drama teaching, interview and presentation coaching with her personal acting experience. So students and learners build confidence and are successful in obtaining their individual goals. Emma continues to add to her professional development by continuing with her own acting work, she has also trained at the highly regarded National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney.
Emma received the Special Conference Accolade Trophy from Speech Communication Association. This award highlights Emma’s continued interest and importance for current professional development. She is also an Affiliate Member of Speech Communication Association and Emma has been a Speech Communication Association Council Member.

(Received Distinction, 100 percent for Viva voce section). Associate Trinity College London Speech and Drama Performing. Emma also has Associate Trinity College London Teaching Communication Skills (Practical) with Distinction and Associate Trinity College London Communication Skills Public Speaking.
Business qualifications received from Wellington Institute of Technology including New Zealand Diploma in Business, New Zealand Diploma in Management and Diploma in Marketing.
Emma has also completed the course How to Succeed At Interviews from The University of Sheffield through FutureLearn.
Emma is also an experienced Corporate Facilitator and Resource Learning Designer for New Zealand Government organisations. Emma’s approach with her students and learners is to find out at the very beginning what their goals and learning styles are and then focus the sessions around these goals in a fun informal learning environment. This is how Emma delivers individual results.
Speech and drama teaching experience includes working with individuals, groups, junior intermediate and senior students. Working with students to have fun but also for competing in competitions and sitting exams. Emma also has Theatre Directing experience.
Emma has experience as a student of speech and drama with sitting exams through Trinity College London and Speech New Zealand. Also competing in the Hutt Valley Performing Arts Speech and Drama Competitions. Emma has been a speech and drama student since the age of six so no wonder this is her passion in life!!
Interview coaching experience includes working with clients for informal and formal interviews. This is also applied to presentation coaching clients where experience applies to informal and formal presentations. Emma has attended a high number of interviews herself both in the public and private sector. She has also done a number of presentations for informal and formal situations.
Received Most Promising Actor award for role of Jessie in Two Women and a Chair by Michael Olsen for Wellington Repertory Theatre. Winner of Regional New Zealand Theatre Federations Community Festival of One Act Plays. (Adjudicator Ewen Coleman).
Emma has performed in a number of shows with Wellington Repertory Theatre including, French Lieutenant’s Woman’ by John Fowles, The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller, Daisy Pulls It Off’ by Denise Deegan. She had also performed in a number of shows with Khandallah Arts Theatre, Tawa Community Theatre, adding to her acting experience.
